Moisiadis Publications is a Greek family business with expertise and experience for more than 35 years in the field of publishing technical and scientific magazines for the metal working sector.

Machine Tools and Welding & Cutting are unique bi-monthly publications devoted to the metal working sector of Greece, which focus at the industries of mechanical machinery, manufacturing & production engineering, industrial equipment, steel constructions, metal forming and processing, tool and mold constructions, sheet metal machines, welding & cutting machines and applications, robotics, automation, rapid prototyping, model constructions, 3D Printing & Scanning, innovation technologies and many more..

The vision of the writer, Stavros Moisiadis, a welding engineer and professor, to bring to Greece some of the Europe’s technological prowess and prestige was realized with the first publication of the technical magazine “Τhe Welder – Welding & Technology”.
The “craving” for knowledge was huge, as was as the response of the technical people who embraced the magazine. After this successful first publication, the magazine “Machine Tools” followed and covered the areas of mechanical constructions, production engineering and the industrial equipment for workshops. A few years later a third magazine was published: the “Sheet Metal” magazine which is devoted to the metal working industry of sheet metal processing and steel buildings. All three magazines succeeded in totally covering the metal industry in Greece. The magazine is now launched under the title «Welding Cutting Forming »

Moisiadis Publications is a unique and dynamic publishing house in the metal sector, which has given the seeds of knowledge and modern technology to the metal working industry. Its structure is that of a classical family business manned by mechanical engineers with substantial experience in industry. Through their executive articles, in-depth cover stories and insightful analyses the above magazines enlighten and keep up to date its readers, the technical people of Greece.

The magazines are recognized across Europe and rest of the world and every year they receive invitations from the various manufacturers to attend open houses and international exhibitions, thus bringing to Greece the latest developments from the “world of metal”.
Each issue of the magazines is an essential tool of learning, and information for large and small industries, metal building houses, workshops, shipyards, production engineers, production managers, production directors and managing directors in OEMS and sub-contractors, students and all people who are engaged in the metal working sector.

An important moment – milestone is the award given in 2012 to the founder Stavros Moisiadis and Moisiadis Publications by the Hellenic Welding Institute member of the European Welding Federation (EWF) and International Institute of Welding (IIW), for his long and lasting offer in the metal and welding industry. The award was given during the first Pan-Hellenic Welding Congress in Athens.
